We set off early in the morning on Saturday 12th May towards our trip to Scotland. We went straight to Glasgow and started our tour around the city centre with the Treasure Hunt, after strolling along the busy streets we had a nice dinner, Fish and chips, of course and went to the Youth Hostel.
A lot of interesting activities followed: a day trip around Glencoe, a nice day in Edinburgh… We made the most of our stay around some Scottish landmarks, we enjoyed the quietness of the scenery as well as the lively cities.
Finally, our students had the opportunity of exchanging their experiences with some Glaswegian students at Govan High School. We spent one day with them attending lessons, having lunch at the canteen, and sharing their mutual interests.
We came back with the feeling of having achieved the best of our aim: learning about Scottish culture and speaking English, all in a friendly collaborative atmosphere.
